  Soul mates is a broad term......

  If you mean that there are people in your life you have agreed to do certain things with them ( before you incarnate), then, yes there are soul mates................but it doesn't mean it going to be fun all the time, soul mates can be in your life to push your buttons too. ....and sometimes even make life a living hell.

  Can you meet someone and have and "instant connection" with them? You bet!........and many call this love at first sight.........but really its reconition at first sight..........."Its like WOW I know this person" The truth is you really do!.......... Just not this life...........And yes we have many soul mates......they come and go out of our lifes..........some for just a day some for years!

  First off........I didn't say I have never killed, I have ...............I have only said I would not kill NOW.

  To Out of Service............Yes I would try and stop someone from hurting my children. With the least amount of violence as possible.

  Once you start that "eye for an eye stuff" it is hard to stop.........just look at our world. I think the movie "Munich" said it to well.

  I like Ghandi way better.

  I'm afraid for me the answer is no..............and yes that means even someone like Hitler.

  I think I would leave all the killing to Jehovah the "happy God".

  as an elder, i knew a lot of things that happened in the congregation, including "secret sins".

  what i also knew was that some persons were quite good at being sneaky----especially the teens.

  years after my daughter stopped hanging around certain friends and she was in her 20's, she told me little juicy tidbits of what some of her best friends regularly got away with.

  There is a "brother" (elder) here in Portland Or. who is worth millions his daughter was the biggest tramp in the city...........married 3 times in her twenties and when she wasn't married was screwing everyone else.................anyway at a wedding about 6 years ago, I had a little to much to drink.........and said the F word. She turned me in to her father! I got removed as a MS for saying what she was doing!

  i find myself in a situation that has me very confused.

  id like your input on this.

  i work for a large company (over 550 employees) and as such, romantic and or sexual relationships between employees tend to develop every once in a while.

It will never work!,,,,,,,,Just kidding I thought I would say that since no one eles did...........of course it could work........the real problem is what if it doesn't work, how would you feel seeing her everyday at work.........say after she dumps you........or you dump her?

  JWs funerals.......forget about the dead person lets preach!

  god forbid you would talk about the person at his funeral............what do most people get after living 70-80 years..........a 5-10 minutes eulogy....................the transition statment is "let me tell you about what fred really believed in".............................45 minutes later.....that way the specker can count his time.. as we know people in the organization are unimportant living or dead.

  Great Post Mary!.............outline of funeral talk.

  Lady Liberty..........No! I didn't just go to a JW funeral........but my sister is dying of cancer........So it looks like I will be back in a KH soon, after 5 1/2 years away..........That will be real fun me and my Dad! If it wasn't for him (he is 84 and hates the JWs as much as me) I would do something crazy there.

  You all are so right............There preaching funeral talk shots them in the foot. People walk out of there with "are these people NUTS"

  My Nazis JW mother wouldn't even let us kids go to my Grandfathers funeral because it was a place of demons...........the catholic church.
